This meeting was the Annual General Meeting for the Referee Association.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:55 with 22 members in attendance.
Roll Call: President – Mike Kampmeinert; First Vice-President – Colin Arblaster; Treasurer – Ed Miles; Secretary – Not Present; Member at Large – Jim Sutton, Scott Gilbertson; Kurt Olsen (not present)Agenda items treated:
n Colin Arblaster (1st Vice President) presented “The Year in Review” noting achievements for the Association since October 2008.
n Dave Richard (Secretary) and Kurt Olson (Member-at-Large) were thanked for their service to the Association over many years – they are stepping down
from their Association Board duties effective tonight.
n Jim Sandison (2nd Vice President) noted achievements over the year regarding Association training events.
n Ed Miles (Treasurer) provided a treasurer’s report.
n Jim Sutton (Member-at-Large) provided comments on the By-Laws amendments.
n Scott Gilbertson (Member-at-Large) had no additional comments.
n Amendments to the Association By-Laws were accepted by vote (unanimous approval).
n Referees Jake Schmitz and Katie Dreith (District VI 2009 Youth Referees of the Year) were presented with Association shirts in appreciation from the membership.

The following members were appointed to the Board by acclamation:

In addition, by vote of the membership, Nathan Lacy was appointed as 2nd Vice President (through December 2010).
Miscellaneous Items:
n Colin reported on the results of the on-line questionnaire (results will be posted at www.ccsra.net soon): Fridays are the preferred meeting day, with some flexibility desired on Cup weekends; there is strong desire for a clinic focused on upgrading to Grade 6 (planned for 2010); consensus is that the CCSRA is “heading in the right direction.”; and an on-line registration is strongly desired.
n There is still room to sign up for the USSF Intermediate Referee course with Heinlein, Pirone, Evans, Starr and others (May 2-3) in Roseville. Details to be posted on the CCSRA web site.
n Dave Simmons announced the CCSL Finals will be held the weekend of May 31st. Festivities will begin at Southside at 11:00; First Division Final at 1:00, Premier Division Final at 3:00.
n Dave Simmons announced that referees will be needed for the Oregon Adult Amateur tournament July 10 – 12 in Portland, OR. Information will be available on the CCSRA web site soon.
