CCSRA Mission Statement: To further educate and maintain a qualified corps of soccer referees in the greater Central California area. To provide a forum for assigning United States Soccer Federation (USSF)-registered soccer referees to officiate USSF-sanctioned soccer games. To promote the understanding and uniform interpretation of the Laws of the Game, and adhere to USSF guidelines and directives for refereeing. To further the interest and welfare of CCSRA members and the refereeing community. To assist in the development and to promote high standards of officiating at all levels of play. The CCSRA Executive Board is currently building upon the foundations set in 2009 and are expanding upon its successful programs and creating new ones for our association to reach even higher expectations.
The Board believes that you, the member, being a part of CCSRA, makes an immediate impact in providing a positive and fulfilling experience for all its other members and other referees in the community you work with.
The primary mission of CCSRA is developing each referee to reach their individual goals and full potential. CCSRA aims to enhance several levels of the refereeing and soccer community in a positive and productive way.
The CCSRA Board and its Members are teaming up together in 2010 and hope to assist each other, member and all non-members alike, with obtaining their personal referee goals.

Benefits of Becoming a Member of CCSRA: - "Pass Back" Program: is a web warehouse of donated uniforms and equipment (new and used) where CCSRA members may request listed items from the website's wherehouse at no cost. Excellent source for newer referees that need to complete their referee kits.

How to Become a Member: - Subject: CCSRA Membership
- Just provide your 1) Name and 2) email address
- Submit a Check of $25.00 and make payment to CCSRA and mail to:
Central California Soccer Referee Association Attn: Treasurer P.O. Box 162735 Sacramento, CA 95816+2735 - Your name and email will be added to the "arbiter" immediately.
- You will receive a notice invitation from "arbiter" to provide your "secured" personal information (*Name, email and telephone numbers are required.)
- Once your payment has been received you will become an active CCSRA member.
- Participating local assignors will then have access to assigning you to their matches through "arbiter."
- If you have any further questions regarding membership please contact anyone on the CCSRA Board.

Veronica Perez: FIFA Assistant RefereeSacramento, California Bio: Veronica began her refereeing in Woodland. She later became a National Referee in 2006. Shortly afterward she was promoted to the FIFA Panel as an Assistant Referee in 2008. In that same year she worked in U17 CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers and the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Bio: Mike became a National/Professional Referee in 2006 and was CCSRA Referee of the Year in 06-07. He is currently also a Licensed State Instructor and Associate Assessor. After participating in several Far West Youth Regionals Mike was selected to represent at Youth Nationals in 2001. He is an AR in the WPS and officiates in other Professional/International matches. Bio: Steve became a referee and referee instructor with AYSO
beginning in 2004, and first registered with USSF in 2005. Currently a Grade 7, he is working at
upgrading over the coming year.
Steve has refereed with NCSOA (NFHS) for two years and hopes to begin
officiating with NISOA (NCAA) in the fall of 2009.

Bio: Ed became a USSF referee in 1999. After several years being happy as a Grade 8 Ed, challenged himself and recently received his Grade 7. This season marks the tenth year that he has served as a referee coordinator for the Orangevale Youth Soccer Club. In addition to officiating youth Division III and IV recreation and Division I competitive matches, he referees high school games with NCSOA, and is also a National Referee with United States Indoor Soccer Association and officiates adult indoor matches at the various arenas in the Sacramento Area. |

Bio: Jim has been a USSF referee and CCSRA member since 1992. After concentrating on youth soccer for some years in support of his daughters' playing, and working SVWSL, Jim moved up to CCSL in 2000, and got his "7' rank in 2001. Jim added AR duties for WPSL, and Fourth Official for both WPSL and NPSL in 2004. Indoor work started in 2004, and high school in 2006. Jim has served as CCSRA Executive Board secretary for several years, and returns to the Board as a member-at-large in 2008. | |
