CCSRA in 2010

CCSRA has purchased Referee Assigning Program (gameofficials.net)
CCSRA is not wanting to be in the assigning business, however we feel that the Association has a unique opportunity to bring assignors together under one umbrella where the Assignors and the Association can collaborate efforts to making Assigning and Referee Development easier and more effective within District 6.

By referees signing on to CCSRA's gameofficials.net we may best reach our members and the rest of the referee community regarding upcoming Clinics, Meetings, Events and Important Referee Information. Referees also obtain easier access to assignors working with CCSRA and using gameofficials.

Assignments for the below listed Tournaments will be assigned using this assigning program!
So if you wish to be selected for these local assignments SIGN YOURSELF UP NOW!!

Officials ARE able to join this group on their own.
Select "New Official"

Group Number is
1105   Access Code is CCSRA
Access to join this Group on your own will end
shortly so do it SOON!!.

The future of providing availability, receiving assignments, receiving immediate updates, and having the ability to submit reports immediately and online is now here!

CCSRA is currently working with the assignors of California Cup (Bill Hall and Mark Bailey) and the assignors of Placer United Tournaments (Chuck Pirone and Chris Elliott)

Also in the coming months we will be attempting to meet with other area Assignors to offer the Program to use for their Tournaments and/or Leagues.
We are sure it will make assigning in D6 easy and effective for ALL involved; assignors, referees, leagues and clubs alike.

We anticipate presenting demonstrations of gameofficals.net at upcoming meetings so that you are able to utilize all of its extra features.

If you are an Assignor and are interested in implementing its use, please contact Mike Kampmeinert (President) and we will be sure to include you in our Assignor Presentation Meeting.

A New Page to be coming soon.... Indoor Soccer
Dave Simmons shall be writing and creating a Page here on CCSRA.NET exclusively about Indoor Soccer information. Dave is the National Director of Instruction for USISA and assignor for several local arenas. Stay tuned...

CONGRATULATIONS JAKE!

Referee Week in Review is designed to address the issues facing referees at all levels by using video highlights from professional games as well as the U.S. National Teams. Written by U.S. Soccer Director of Referee Development Paul Tamberino and U.S. Soccer Manager of Assessment and Training Brian Hall, the Referee Week in Review will highlight specific areas of focus and current U.S. Soccer initiatives designed to improve performance and aid in the development of officials across the country.

USSF's Week In Reviews are HERE.

The USSF has placed the 2009-2010 editions of the Advice book and the Ref Admin Handbook on their web page.  The Advice book has some major paragraph revisions and advice to all is to download the new revision and study the changes from the electronic copy.

The following paragraphs are located on the USSF web site, referee section, Instructional Materials section:

ADVICE

This book of Advice to Referees is specifically intended to give USSF referees, assistant referees and
fourth officials a reliable compilation of those international and national guidelines remaining in force,
as modified or updated. It is not a replacement for the Laws of the Game, nor is it a "how to" book
on refereeing. It is an official statement of Federation interpretations of the Laws. Affiliated leagues,
associations, competitions, and officials must implement them to the fullest extent possible.
Participants in affiliated matches must not impose personal, unsupported, or unofficial interpretations of
any provisions of the Laws of the Game. If a point is not made in this Advice, look first to the relevant
Law or Laws of the Game for the answer.

USSF ADMINISTRATIVE HANDBOOK

The Referee Administrative Handbook is meant to be used as a guide to the administrative processes of the U.S. Soccer Referee Program. It contains information about policies, by-laws and requirements that affect all referees. Of importance, are the various recertifying and upgrade requirements should any referee wish to consider moving to a different grade. Many questions can be addressed by the State Referee Administrator who may be more familiar with certain state procedures and protocols. If you do not know how to contact the State Referee Administrator in your area, you will find a list, with contact information, on our web site, www.ussoccer.com.
